Scratch Pad is a student led marketing organization at James Madison University that partakes in the National Student Advertising Competition each year. Our client for 2022-2023 was an employment website called indeed. I was originally positioned to be one of two art directors on the team, but I was promoted to creative director in the midst of planning our plansbook. The Scratch Pad plansbook includes the campaign process for indeed from beginning to end. This included research, information about the target audience, our strategy and creative concept, our manifesto, and the various ads that were produced by Scratch Pad designers. As the creative director, I was tasked with designing and producing the 13-page plansbook! My designs were then translated into a presentation given at the competition by Scratch Pad executives. I absolutely loved this project and the people I got to work with!
Considering the target audience, I decided to emulate a friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming tone in the overall theme of the plansbook. I took the term bubbly to the next level with this uplifting and energetic design. There is an in depth look at the creative concept on page 6 of the plansbook!
